Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. An Occupational Therapist is needed to provide specialized support for students in a K-12 school setting located in Dearborn Heights, MI. This contract position covers the remainder of the current semester with the potential to extend into the next school year. The role requires working onsite to deliver direct therapy services that enhance the educational experience and promote student independence. Key Responsibilities: Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to implement therapeutic strategies that support students learning and development. Provide hands-on therapy and interventions aimed at improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, and functional abilities. Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations. Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to support overall student success. Qualifications: Must hold a current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Michigan. Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) in an educational setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators and families. Ability to work onsite and adapt to the dynamic school environment. Knowledge of special education regulations and therapeutic approaches appropriate for school settings.
