Job Description The role involves assembling paint robots by taking
subassemblies and completely putting them together for shipping You
will need to read blueprints and use tools such as loctite,
wrenches, and ratchets to ensure that each robot is perfectly
assembled before moving to shipping Job Responsibilities Produce
components by assembling parts and subassemblies Read and interpret
schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions Use hand tools or
machines to assemble parts Conduct quality control checks Clean and
maintain work area and equipment, including tools Prepare work by
studying parts lists and gathering necessary items Position parts
and subassemblies using templates or measurements Assemble
components by checking connections for correct fit and fastening
parts Verify specifications by measuring completed components
Resolve assembly problems and notify supervisor for additional
resources if needed Maintain a safe and clean work environment by
adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations Conserve resources
by using equipment and supplies efficiently Document actions by
completing production and quality forms Essential Skills Mechanical
aptitude with experience in car mechanics, backyard mechanics, or
industrial machine assembly/repair Ability to read blueprints
Proficiency with tools such as impact drills, ratchets, hammers,
Allen wrenches, screwdrivers, and torque wrenches Job Type &
Location This is a Permanent position based out of Auburn Hills,
MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 -
$23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may
depend on your job classification and length of employment.
