Job Description:
ROLE SYNOPSIS The Chief Operating Officer will take charge of
devising the company's strategic roadmap by collaborating with the
Board of Directors and the Executive Management Team to frame
comprehensive objectives, strategies, blueprints, and regulations.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Key functions include, but are not
limited to:
- Gaining credibility within the organization and Board by
delivering effective business solutions.
- Enforcing the company's mission and core values via strategic
leadership and management.
- Driving the Company towards surpassing targets related to
sales, profitability, cash flow, and overall business goals.
- Leading the formation, dissemination, and execution of robust
growth strategies and processes.
- Cooperating with the Executive Management Team to design and
implement operational systems, processes, and staff structures that
align with the company's growth objectives.
- Inspiring, guiding, and leading a high-performance management
team; playing a key role in attracting, recruiting, and retaining
executive team members; and serving as a mentor to promote
management career development.
- Establishing and enhancing strategic relations with all clients
and partners through direct interactions; acting as the face of the
company with clients, business partners, investors, and the
public.
- Assisting in procuring additional capital at suitable
valuations to meet the company's sales, growth, and market share
objectives.
- Cultivating a success-focused, responsible culture within the
company.
- Overseeing business unit supervisors and their respective
teams, with overall responsibility for direction, coordination, and
evaluation.
- Directly supervising non-managerial employees in line with the
organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Undertaking responsibilities related to hiring, training, work
assignment, performance evaluation, employee reward/discipline, and
resolving grievances.
- Executing other duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND
SKILLS
- A Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field (Master's
Degree preferred).
- 3-5 years of advancing experience as a COO or substantial
experience as a COO/VP-level, managing one or more key business
functions.
- Current active license as LISW-S, LPCC-S, or LIMFT-S,
preferred.
- Strong experience in senior leadership position with an
organization operating a foster care group home and/or community
mental health agency, required.
- Interpersonal skills with persuasive and negotiation abilities
to manage internal and external business relations.
- Strong management skills for effective planning, directing,
reporting, and administration.
- In-depth knowledge of the industry and industry-related trends
and forecasts.
- Analytical capabilities: Ability to process complex or diverse
information.
- Problem-solving abilities: Ability to identify and resolve
issues in a timely manner and gather and analyze information
effectively.
- Communication skills: Ability to speak clearly and persuasively
in positive or negative situations, demonstrate group presentation
skills, and conduct productive meetings.
- Leadership skills: Ability to inspire and motivate others,
accept feedback, delegate work assignments, and monitor delegated
activities.
- Management skills: Involve staff in planning, decision-making,
facilitating, process improvement, provide regular performance
feedback, develop subordinates' skills, and encourage growth.
- Quality Management: Ability to find ways to improve and promote
quality, demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
- Judgment: Willingness to make decisions, display sound and
accurate judgment, and make timely decisions.
- Planning and Organization: Ability to prioritize and plan work
activities, use time efficiently, and develop realistic action
plans.
- Safety and Security: Adhere to safety and security procedures,
and proper use of equipment and materials.WORK CONDITIONS AND
PHYSICAL DEMANDS The role requires regular speaking and listening.
The COO will often use hands or fingers to handle or use tools or
controls. Occasionally, standing, walking, sitting, reaching with
hands and arms, and lifting/moving up to 25 pounds are required.
Close, distance, and adjustable focus vision is necessary. The
typical noise level is low to moderate. Reasonable accommodations

Compensation details: 90000-120000 Yearly Salary
