This position is responsible for accurately receiving and processing reusable supplies and equipment. Decontaminates, prepares/assembles and packages patient care equipment, scopes, instruments trays, basin sets, prepares and packages linen packs; sterilizes and stores reusable linen packs, instrument trays, basin sets, etc.; prepares surgical case carts. Operates sterilizers and decontamination equipment. Performs required quality monitoring tasks. Operates the instrument tracking system throughout all processing and distribution.QUALIFICATIONS: Must acquire CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) within one year of employment.
