Job Description:

The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is responsible for evaluating and treating patients in urgent care or occupational health settings, providing compassionate, respectful care, and ensuring patients understand their treatment plans. They document care accurately using electronic health records and handle coding and billing appropriately. Delivering ethical, legal, and high-quality care while maintaining clinical productivity is essential. Follow-up on patient care is required.

Essential qualifications include an active North Carolina medical license, DEA, NCCPA (for PAs) or AANP/ANCC (for NPs) certification, and minimum education requirements (Bachelor's or Master's degree). Must be comfortable with all age groups, EHR proficient, and capable of working weekends/holidays.
Valued but not required: experience with x-ray interpretation, suturing, prior urgent care experience, or a Master's in Physician Assistant studies.
