Must have 18 months recent CVICU experience. License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Traveler must work at least every other holiday. Description: Client Main Campus Heart, Vascular and Thoracic Institute is seeking a Registered Nurse for the CVICU. This position is for night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months permanent experience in the specialty they are applying for prior to travel assignments. Recent CVICU experience is required, and travel experience can suffice. A permanent Ohio license or a compact state license must be held at the time of submission. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required and must be active with nothing pending. Travelers will be required to complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation, achieving an acceptable score on both assessments is necessary. Modules are required to be completed before the start date and annually, with a cap on billable hours. All references must be from a supervisor, manager, or director within the specialty being applied for. Candidates will also need to pick up their badge and complete onsite fingerprints before starting. PAPRs will not be accepted as alternatives for caregivers with facial hair unless approved for medical or religious exemption. The facility has a strict do-not-call policy. Nurses and CSTs are currently exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements.
