be considered. Provide specialized nursing care in a dynamic
environment, supporting patients with complex cardiac conditions
and advanced heart failure. This contract opportunity offers
hands-on experience in a stepdown unit, where expertise in cardiac
patient care, including management of implantable devices and
advanced dysrhythmias, is essential. Location: Lorain, OH Role
Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients
with advanced heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, and complex
cardiac conditions such as electrolyte imbalanced dysrhythmias and
tachy-brady syndromes. - Provide care to patients awaiting heart
transplants and those with implantable devices like pacemakers,
defibrillators, or Ventricular Assistive Devices (VAD). - Manage
pre- and post-procedural care for cardiac catheterization,
ablation, and chemical cardioversion using medications such as
Tikosyn. - Support hospitalist services, providing medical-surgical
nursing care as a backup function. - Collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and
adherence to protocols. - Monitor patient status and respond
promptly to changes in condition. Qualifications and Desired
Experience: - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. - Experience
in stepdown or cardiac nursing with advanced heart failure and
dysrhythmia management. - Proficiency in monitoring and caring for
patients with implantable cardiac devices (pacemakers,
defibrillators, VADs). - Strong clinical judgment and ability to
work in a fast-paced cardiac care environment. - Excellent
