safe, efficacious, and cost effective preparation and use of
medications. Conducts practice of pharmacy in accordance with
federal and state laws and regulations and hospital policy and
procedures. Participates in ongoing evaluations to ensure quality
patient care. Works well within a team environment; accepts and
offers honest and constructive feedback; supports team goals and
encourages other team members; and collaborates with patient care
team members to consolidate work, solves problems, creates new
methods to reduce costs if necessary. Shows
flexibility/adaptability in meeting environmental constrains and
demands placed on services as is common with changing reimbursement
and managed care targets. Minimum Qualifications: Formal Education
Required: a.Bachelor’s Degree or Pharm D in pharmacy b.Current
Licensure in State of Ohio Experience & Training Required:
a.Working knowledge of pharmacy law b.Dexterity to operate a
computer terminal, calculator, and other office equipment; to
manipulate fine instruments; and prepare pharmaceutical entities in
minute proportions. 3.Other Skills, Competencies and
Qualifications: a.Ability to effectively communicate verbally and
in writing with patients, pharmacists, nurses, techniciansal
physicians, third party payors and other healthcare personnel
b.Must maintain confidentiality of patient and department records
c.Ability to self-direct to execute responsibilities within a team
structure in a fast paced, professional retail environment. 4
Population Specific Competency: a.Ability to effectively interact
with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of
their needs for self-respect and dignity 5.Level of Physical
Demands: a.Sedentary: Exerts up to ten pounds of force occasionally
and/or a negligible amount of force frequently . Coordination to
perform up close repetititive tasks such as counting, pouring, and
labeling. b.Hazards: Exposure to blood, body fluids, and sharps;
Rrisk of falls strains, contagious diseases, cuts from broken
glass, needle punctures, etc. c Possible exposure to selected
hazardous substances (e.g., alcohol, chemotherapeutic agents, etc.)
d. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time; pushes,
pulls, carries, and lifts light to medium loads Equal Opportunity

on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any
bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant
experience and geographical location are considered when
determining the starting rate of pay. We believe in the importance
of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team
members when determining offers. Please keep in mind that the range
that is listed is the full base salary range. Hiring at the maximum
