Pay: $88 per hour Shift Information: Days Start Date: ASAP About the Position RN - Invasive Cardiology – UHC Staffing RN - Invasive Cardiology Location: Cleveland, OH Start Date: 11-17-2025 End Date: 02-16-2026 Contract Type: Travel Contract Shift Type: Day shifts (rotating schedule) with multiple start times: 06:30 AM - 05:00 PM; 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM; 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM. Holidays and on-call shifts assigned by unit rotation. STEMI call assignment with a 30-minute response requirement and a minimum 4-hour callback. Roles & Responsibilities Provide expert care for critically ill patients undergoing interventional cardiology and endovascular procedures Perform preoperative and postoperative patient care to ensure safe procedural flow Continuously monitor hemodynamics, including IABP and Impella devices, and respond to changes swiftly Manage ventilator settings and conduct ventilator care for patients when required Respond to STEMI calls within the required response time and support emergent interventions Administer and monitor sedation safely during procedures and coordinate with the clinical team Document care accurately in EPIC, XPER, and Change Healthcare systems Collaborate with physicians, techs, and the cath lab team to drive positive patient outcomes Qualifications Valid RN licensure in the state of Ohio required prior to start Current ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association required prior to start Cath lab experience with demonstrated preoperative and postoperative skills Proficiency with advanced hemodynamic monitoring, including IABP and Impella Experience with ventilator management is a must Comfort with STEMI response protocols and a 30-minute response expectation Ability to meet physical demands: lifting with assistance and prolonged standing as needed Knowledge & Skills Interventional cardiology and endovascular procedure knowledge Advanced hemodynamic monitoring and device management (IABP, Impella) Ventilator management and critical care nursing skills Sedation monitoring and patient safety during procedures Proficiency with EPIC, XPER, and Change Healthcare documentation systems Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills STEMI call response and emergency readiness Benefits Generous housing stipend and travel reimbursement to make your contract comfortable Comprehensive medical, dental & vision coverage to keep you healthy Licensure assistance and reimbursement so you can focus on care, not paperwork Competitive pay and timely payroll for travel clinicians Paid time off options to recharge between shifts Referral bonus program — bring a friend and share the rewards Supportive team culture that values your skills and professional growth Access to professional development and training on EPIC, XPER, and Change Healthcare Travel Perks: Explore Cleveland, OH Cleveland is a great base between urban energy and lakeside chill.
