Registered Nurse (RN) | Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op Location: Royal Oak, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,506 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: PACU Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Agency Staff RN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evenings Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in PACU/Recovery room License: Registered Nurse (State License) Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (preferred) Must-Have: PACU/Recovery room experience Description: The clinical nurse utilizes the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care. Incorporates patient-family centered care principles in their practice. Provides quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader. Applies the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and discharge needs of the patient/family/significant other. Recognizes the impact of nursing care and patient/family partnerships on outcomes. Partners with and utilizes patient/family input and goals in planning the care plan. Provides quality care that meets or exceeds expectations for patient experience. Assists individuals while considering their special needs, age-related, and cultural needs. Recognizes the roles of the interdisciplinary team and utilizes them appropriately as resources in planning patient care. Delegates appropriate tasks. Demonstrates knowledge of and competently performs technical procedures and uses equipment properly. Documents in the patient record in a timely, accurate, and concise manner. Develops teaching strategies for patient/family and documents education in the health record. Demonstrates leadership in the professional practice setting and is responsible for continuing personal education. Stays up to date with current health system initiatives and incorporates evidence-based practice into their care. Completes a self-appraisal that includes professional goals annually. Actively participates in handoffs of care, including the patient, family, and partners in care. Embraces the cultural traditions and lore of the community served.
