Job Description Job Description Job post summary Date posted: February 13, 2026 Pay: $1,900.00 - $2,200.00 per week Job description: Job Title: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Hospital, Akron and Barberton, OH Job Type: Night Shift / Day Shift Department: Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Reports To: Nurse Manager Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to adult patients requiring medical-surgical treatment and continuous cardiac monitoring. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to develop and implement patient care plans Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and evidence-based nursing practices Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact license BLS , ACLS required Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg and/or Telemetry experience preferred Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring and medical-surgical nursing care Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills Schedule & Benefits 12-hour shifts / rotating weekends / holiday requirements Competitive pay based on experience Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision Retirement plan options continuing education opportunities career advancement pathways Why Join Us?
