Primary Care Physician Opportunity near Hadley, PA Job Summary

Characteristic Job Tasks and Responsibilities Patient Care: Meet,
assess, and diagnose patients, delivering healthcare services that
meet state and national standards. Prescribe appropriate

Documentation: Ensure compliance with state requirements for
maintaining licensure, including continuing education. Document and

oversight, and guidance to students, residents, and fellows. Mentor
residents throughout the healthcare delivery process. Preventative
and Acute Care: Offer preventative care and acute care services,
with referrals to specialists as needed. Healthcare System Entry:
Act as a key point of entry to the entire healthcare system.
Wellness Emphasis: Emphasize early detection of ailments,
prevention, and overall wellness. Patient Referrals: Identify and
refer patients to appropriate specialists based on the nature of
ailments and patient health needs. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities,
and Characteristics Professional Ethics: Adherence to AOA or AMA
code of ethics. Medical Knowledge: Knowledge of general medical
coding and related information. Compliance and Safety: Compliance
with State and Federal Regulations and Safety Protocols. Knowledge
of patient privacy (HIPAA) and adherence to OSHA guidelines.
Computer Literacy: Strong computer literacy skills (MS Office
Suite) and accurate data entry skills. Organizational Skills:
Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication
skills, including effective listening. Strong interpersonal skills
for patient engagement. Team Collaboration: Ability to work as part
of a team. Flexibility: Flexibility to accept additional duties for
facility needs. Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience:
Degree from an approved medical school (D.O. or M.D.) with an
approved residency. Current Pennsylvania medical license required.
Two to five years or more of practicing experience preferred.
Physical Demands The physical demands include standing, walking,
sitting, hand usage, reaching, climbing stairs, and occasional
lifting up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities are required for
