Job Description Description This position will work four (10)
hour shifts Shifts: A variety of shifts may be available including
full-time, part-time, and PRN (location specific) Ask your
recruiter for more details. Will consider new graduates. Radiology
candidates who accept a part-time or full-time position with

Ladder Progression - Free Parking A Brief Overview Performs MRI
scans at the direction of physician protocol. Provides
compassionate age-specific care to patients from neonates through
geriatrics. What You Will Do - Displays commitment to the mission
of the hospital and its values - Provides age-specific care to
patients from neonates through geriatrics. - Performs MRI scans as
directed by radiologist - Patient care during visit to MRI -
Knowledge of MRI equipment and safety in MRI environment. - Assures
a safe and clean environment - Maintains knowledge of technical
skills - Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a
learning environment - Demonstrates successful technical/patient
skills by efficiently implementing special procedure technology in
the MR area - Uses administrative skills to contribute to the
successful operation of the department - Collaborates effectively
and in a timely manner with co-workers and clinical staff - Clear
knowledge of modality specific equipment, computers, PACS, EMR and
RIS. Additional Responsibilities - Uses a variety of equipment
specific to the area, including MR scanners, power injectors, and
various computers. Must demonstrate effective organizational,
written and oral communication skills. Must demonstrate excellent
customer service skills. Ability to perform procedures specific to
area. Answers phones and arranges schedule for in-patient request
Initiates and maintains positive relationships with
patients/customers and coworkers - Performs other duties as
assigned. - Complies with all policies and standards. - For
specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation
provided by the department during orientation. - Must abide by all
requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health
Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of
Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address
appropriate use of PHI in the workplace. Qualifications Education
Qualifications - Associate's Degree Completion of an accredited 2
year program in a school of Radiologic, MRI, or Nuclear Medicine
Technology (Required) or - Other Accredited Program: Completion of
an accredited program in a school of Sonography with current ARDMS
certificate (Required) and - High School Equivalent / GED
(Required) Experience Qualifications - MR scanning experience.
(Preferred) Skills and Abilities - Knowledge of sterile and
surgical procedures. (Required proficiency) - Knowledge of MRI
equipment and safety in MRI environment. (Required proficiency) -
Knowledge of radiology information system. (Required proficiency) -
Basic knowledge of oxygen tanks, suction machine and emergency
equipment. (Required proficiency) Licenses and Certifications - Any
of the following: Registered Technologist MRI (ARRT-MR) or
Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT:R) or Certified Nuclear
Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or Registered Technologist Radiation
Therapy (ARRT-T) or ARDMS - American Registry of Diagnostic Medical
Sonography (Required Upon Hire) and - Registered Technologist MRI
(ARRT-MR) (Required within 1 Year) or - ARMRIT - American Registry
of MRI Technologists (Required Upon Hire) - Basic Life Support
