Certified Surgical Technologist Location: Zanesville, OH Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $2,000 to $2,160 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $50.00 - $54.00/Hourly. Summary: The Surgical Technologist assists surgeons, anesthesiologists, and operating room staff by preparing the operating room, instruments, and supplies and ensuring a sterile environment during surgical procedures. The technologist plays a critical role in patient safety, procedural efficiency, and supporting the surgical team throughout all phases of surgery. Responsibilities: Prepare the operating room (OR) with sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies. Ensure proper functioning of surgical equipment, instruments, and devices before procedures. Verify patient identity, procedure type, and surgical consent prior to surgery. ?Maintain sterile field and aseptic technique during surgery. Pass instruments, sutures, and supplies to the surgeon during the procedure. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide instruments promptly. Handle specimens and surgical materials according to protocol. Requirements Requirements: 2 - Year experience Required, BLS Certification, Must have current or very recent 2 years of Open-Heart experience, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), Benefits Benefits: Referral Program - for each referral start.
