In this role, you will schedule trucks according to customer needs. You will dispatch company trucks as well as Third Party Trucks. You will work with the Yard Manger to schedule outbound scrap shipments. YOu will also run the truck scale. The ideal candidate is highly organized with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. Responsibilities Receive inbound calls form customers for pick ups Collect and document information from callers Schedule trucks to handle customers needs Coordinate with Yard Manager for outbound loads Operate Scale Qualifications Previous experience as a Dispatcher or in a similar position Computer skills and data entry skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize projects Ability to work well under pressure
