As our CDL A Truck Driver, you are the backbone of our operations, responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of cargo. With Hogan1, you'll find a dynamic work environment where each mile you cover is geared towards making an impactful contribution to the logistics sector. Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck over specified routes to deliver goods to various locations, adhering to all safety regulations and legislations. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, and perform preventative maintenance planning. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, liaising with the central dispatch unit to communicate delays or concerns on the route. Document and log work/rest periods, miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations, as well as with company policies and procedures. Report defects, accidents, or violations encountered on the route to the management immediately. Manage paperwork associated with freight transportation, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Proven ability to handle and maneuver the truck and trailer. Strong time management and punctuality. Good geographical knowledge and navigation skills. Physical fitness and strength to handle the demands of long-distance trucking. Preferred: Certification in Transportation of Hazardous Materials.
