Job Description:

SBM Management is looking for a Custodian to help them shine! We have an immediate opening for a custodian that wants to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction. We are looking for custodial members that have strong customer service skills and can work successfully with other team members.

Responsibilities

* Walk and or stand for long periods of time
* Answer and respond to phone calls and emails from hospital staff
* Appropriately clean and disinfect medical equipment using the approved disinfectant
* Able to read par sheets and inventory levels
* Adhere to hospital policies and infection control processes
* Obtain supplies via Stock Acquisition Process
* Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
* Operate pushcart for transporting equipment
* Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
* Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
* Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
* Stop at risk behavior of others and self
* Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
* Perform repetitive tasks
* Maintain clean work area
* Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
* Take direction and respond to supervision
* Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
* Fill in during staff shortage
* Support shift lead in completing punch-list items
* Use proper personal protective equipment
* Present a professional appearance and conduct
* Understand customer service and satisfaction
* Understand reporting systems, and of the environment

Qualifications

* Ability to read inventory forms
* Ability to read, write and speak English
* Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team
* Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
* Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use

Pay: $13.00

Shift: 9:00AM-9:30PM Monday-Friday; alternating weekends
