You will be responsible for maintaining high sanitation standards, contributing to the production of quality products, and supporting our commitment to food safety and excellence. If you are detail-oriented and passionate about maintaining a safe and hygienic workspace, we invite you to apply and be a part of our dedicated team.Job Responsibilities- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of all food processing equipment and production areas to meet established health and safety standards.
- Operate cleaning machinery and equipment, including pressure washers, floor scrubbers, and other sanitation tools.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for sanitation processes and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and hygiene of production facilities and report any issues or concerns to management.
- Mix and use cleaning chemicals properly, adhering to safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions.
- Maintain accurate records of sanitation activities, including cleaning schedules, chemical usage, and inspections.
- Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless operations and adherence to food safety standards.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to stay current with sanitation procedures and industry best practices.
- Assist in the development and implementation of sanitation protocols and improvements to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Respond promptly to any sanitation-related emergencies or incidents to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Monitor and replenish inventory of cleaning supplies and protective equipment, ensuring availability for all shifts.
- Support pest control measures by maintaining a clean and organized environment that deters pest infestation.Job Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in food manufacturing or sanitation role.
- Knowledge of sanitation and cleaning procedures specific to food manufacturing.
- Familiarity with FDA, USDA, and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools safely.
- Strong understanding of HACCP guidelines.
- Ability to read and interpret safety data sheets (SDS).
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures.
- Strong physical stamina; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
- Basic proficiency in using computer systems and software for reporting.PM25
